Chatsworth

We excitedly loaded up Dora for our first night away.

BUT

We were stuck on the driveway. The grass at the top was our nemesis. The front wheels dug giant craters in the soft grass.

So a quick trip to @glossopcaravans for some some grip mats.

BUT

They just flew down the drive.

Eventually we were towed off.

AND

So the adventures began. A gentle drive across the Peak District to Chatsworth.

A fantastic site for our first night. A doorway to the fabulous grounds of the Chatsworth Estate.

I had hoped to see the deer and I was not disappointed.

A gentle stroll was the perfect antidote to the earlier trauma.

And

In the twilight under the tree.

I apologise for the poor quality photos in the twilight.

I had planned an early morning stroll but due to the quietness and gentle sounds of birds chirping I slept on in DORA.

And after a great night- silence only found in the country. Awoken by the dawn chorus. Was this the culprit?
