So the gallant Kevin arrived at work to whisk me away for another weekend away in Dora.
A gentle drive north east and here we are in South Shields. Lovely little site, Sandhaven Holiday Park.
Arrived to a warm welcome and tour of the facilities.
Can’t get the aerial to work so relying on fire stick and new WiFi gadget.
Cheese toasties with a glass of wine- motorhomer heaven!

Great little site in a fantastic location.
Just 5 minutes walk to the beach.
Enjoyed a morning stroll along the coast.

And then an afternoon doon the toon! The staff at St James Park were welcoming and very accommodating.
Shame about the rugby.
But back to South Shields for a gin and tonic and a pint of doom bar at the pub next to the metro, the wouldhave, and a taxi back to the tranquility of Sandhaven caravan park.
Absolutely fantastic weekend away.
Now chilling watching the Last Leg on Kevin’s firestick.
