Day 1 a drive across the Pennines to Ripon.
The tour began in glorious sunshine. Stocked with ample supplies we headed north towards our first stop near Ripon. A preplanned stop at the Black A Moor Inn on the road into Ripon proved an excellent decision. Good beer and an excellent menu. Plenty of off-road parking for Dora.
A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon wandering around the nearby Studley Royal Deer Park.
Then onto a tranquil site, the River Laver site.
